Job Description
We're Hiring: Join the Launch Team at the New Jimmy John’s – Pittsburgh International Airport!
Location: Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT)
Positions: Shift Lead
Type: Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities
Welcome to the Fast Lane.
Jimmy John’s is all about speed — freaky fast service and freaky fresh sandwiches. But at Pittsburgh International Airport , we’re taking that to the next level. This is no ordinary sandwich shop. You're stepping into a high-pressure, high-traffic, high-stakes environment where time isn’t just money — it’s everything.
From the moment travelers rush in between flights to when the concourse fills after a big landing, the pace doesn’t slow down — and neither can we. If you're someone who thrives when the pressure's on, loves being part of a high-functioning team, and can stay sharp when every second counts, we want you on this crew.
What to Expect on the Job:
Go full speed. You’ll be making sandwiches and serving guests in minutes — often seconds — during airport rushes.
Stay sharp under pressure. The volume is intense. We’re talking non-stop lines, tight timing, and no room for error.
Communicate like a pro. You’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with teammates in a tight, fast-moving kitchen. Clear, quick communication is key.
Own your role. Everyone plays a part — whether you’re slicing bread, working the register, or leading a shift. We move fast, together.
We’re Looking for People Who:
Love working in high-energy , high-pressure environments
Stay calm and collected when the heat turns up
Understand the power of teamwork — we succeed or fail together
Can hustle with precision and a smile
Have flexible availability (we operate on airport time — early mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays)
Can pass an airport background check
Why You’ll Love It Here:
Competitive airport-based pay + tips
Fast-track growth for top performers
Tight-knit team energy — no one left behind
Meal discounts & flexible shifts
Be part of the launch team — shape the culture from day one
This Isn’t Just a Job — It’s a Team Mission.
You’ll be part of something from the ground up. It’s fast. It’s intense. It’s fun. You’ll be proud of how hard you work and how fast your team can move when everyone’s locked in.
